River Street

River Street is a glittering, multi-faceted gem along the broad Savannah River. The century old buildings, once cotton warehouses, have been converted to antique shops, distinctive boutiques, spectacular galleries, quaint brew pubs, fabulous restaurants, unique nightspots, elegant inns and hotels.

Historic District

Savannah's Historic District - significant for its distinctive grid plan as well as its 18th and 19th century architecture. The district encompasses the original town plan laid out in 1733 by Gen. James E. Oglethorpe, founder of the British colony of Georgia.

Forsyth Park

Forsyth Park is a favorite spot for locals and tourists alike. The famous fountain inside of Forsyth park is one of the most photographed landmarks in the whole city.

Telfair Museum

Telfair Museums, in the historic district of Savannah, Georgia, was the first public art museum in the Southern United States.

Bonaventure Cemetery

A visit to historic Savannah isn’t complete with a trip to Bonaventure Cemetery. Bonaventure is considered one of the most beautiful cemeteries in the country.

Owens Thomas House

The Owens Thomas House is a majestic home, sitting on Oglethorpe Square and is probably the most popular house in Savannah when it comes to taking a house tour.

Savannah Theater

The Savannah Theatre is the perfect place to catch a show or play while visiting Savannah. They rotate their shows year-round, providing entertainment to the masses!

Cathedral St. John the Baptist

The Victorian Gothic Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist is home to the oldest Roman Catholic Church in Georgia.

First Baptist Church

On of the most historic buildings in all of Savannah, the First African Baptist Church should be on the list of buildings to tour for any history buff visiting Savannah.

Trolley Tours – all three major Trolley Tour companies offer a 90 minute tour of the Historic and Victorian District.  Two tours provide on/off service during the tour, which reduce the narration time of the tour by 15 minutes.

Outside of the Historic District

Bonaventure Cemetery may be the most beautiful place you will ever visit!  It is easily accessible by car, but two tour companies also offer transportation from the Historic District and a guided narrated tour of the cemetery.
